Typical Day at Our House...

These are a few of the things you would see round here..Sally on the printer...Baxter in Don's lap..(or mine), and Maggie and Baxter playing (sort of).

The way it was....

The couch you see here is referred to around here as...Maggie's couch.  If I ask Don where Maggie is the answer is typically "in there on HER couch. Well, things have changed a little since Baxter goat mastered jumping on all the couches in the house. Maggie has zero peace when he is out and about.

A Few of Baxter's Favorite Places.........

Well Baxter is settling right in to his new home. He has mastered the stairs, and decided the side table by the couch is his new "jump on" toy. As you can see down below the table, he knocked the picture off and claimed the table as his. He is following in Bella's footsteps by claiming the area under the computer desk as his nap place.

A fashion statement...

This is baby BAXTER sporting his cold weather wear. He has great self-esteem so purple is cool with him. Here he meets baby(yes still my baby) BELLA and then takes a snooze in a warm lap.

OUR NEW ADDITION....

This is Baxter. He is a minilamancha goat. His mom had quads and his owner (kathy) had her hands full with lil bottle babies. I was lucky enough to get him for our gang of critters!!!!  He had his little horns removed yesterday and that is what you are wondering about on his head. The yellow is medicine. Don't worry...his fur will grow over and he will be handsome.

The cold can work miracles around here.....

Maggie and Sally typically are ENEMIES...with Maggie brutally chasing her every chance she gets. This freezing, windy weather has turned them into ..FRIENIMIES!

SNOWY MEMORIES ... HOPING FOR FUTURE SNOW TOO.

This is Josie's first appearance on the blog. She was our first dog and lived to be 13. We had to put her to sleep about 2 yrs ago...the hardest decison ever! Here she is in the snow of 2003 with Gus and Lexie.  They all had fun in the snow even if Gus was driving Josie insane.

A Sunny Sunday Walk with the Gang and their Cousins...

 

Lexie and Speck the goats joined us as well as Bella goat and cousins Sadie the big white dog and BeBe the little black dog.We had  4 labs,1 great pyrenese, 1 maltepoo(maybe) and 3 goats. Oh and 3 humans but we don't count.
