- When the temperature drops outside, we always know. There is the sound of the "doggie" door opening and a cat appears! Sally is a regular weather forecasting cat. The same thing goes for rain too. Here she is in one of her fave places...our computer chair.

Oh this was bad.....REALLY REALLY bad!!!
Every year at Thanksgiving, Don makes the dressing. He typically makes it a few days in advance and freezes it. Well, yesterday was the day. He boiled a chicken, cooked cornbread and biscuits. He carefully pulled the meat of the chicken and put it in a plate. Then we went out briefly(about 3 minutes) and I heard Don say "where is Maggie?"...Hmm I think, ..surely she is not in the house eating the chicken!!! Next thing I know he is furious and shouting.."You know what that dog did..she ate ALL the chicken and he made several gestures. One gesture looked as if he was signifying a choking of someone or thing...lol. Well needless to say "Trouible" aka Maggie was in the dog house awhile so to speak...but now she is out and all is well. He just has to cook another chicken! Now who could stay mad at this sweet face?

If you beg loud enough...
Bella thinks she is a dog. They are all hanging out on the back porch looking in to see what is happening.. She "baaas" ( her way of begging) til I can't take it anymore. Here she is visiting with us in the house...not the first time for this. and not the last!!

The Dreaded annual Fall occurance around here.
Every Fall we dread deer season only because of what the "Wild Gang" does. They drag up deer parts from the neighborhood almost daily. As you can see in the pic, Darcy has a yummy deer spine. Actually, sweet Gus drug it so proudly but she quickly stole it from him. They will gnaw on these parts for hours if I don't confiscate them. When they went to bed tonight they all had a treasure to work on through out the night.

Time Change means nothing to "THE CLAW"
So...Maggie wakes us up each morning by giving one of us a painful scrape we have named " THE CLAW". With the time change we thought we would sleep an extra hour. but. ..instead of getting "the claw" at the typical 7:06 a.m. this morning it arrived at 6:06. Maggie was still on old time and so administered "the claw". this is Maggie with her "who me?" face!!!

Maggie "THINKS" she knows them!!
We had 4 trick or treaters if you count the "Spa Lady". Maggie was a little thrown off by the head gear I think...Or maybe the 'green" face.
